How to get all the achievements for Evil Genius 2: World Domination
Hello and welcome to my guide for Evil Genius 2: World Domination. This game includes a grand total of 90 steam achievements, and I will detail how to get every single of them below. English is not my mother tongue, so probably there will be some mistakes here and there. Don’t forget to share insights and suggestions in the comment section. I hope you will find this guide useful.
NOTE: all the achievements listed below have been unlock before the Ocean pack expansion. None of the DLCs are required to complete all the achievements.
1.0 – HARD DIFFICULTY STRATEGY
To do well on hard, you need to understand a simple idea called “heat management.” The FOJ will be after you more and more the more you do wrong. This could turn into a death spiral: even if you survive one attack, your heat will keep going up, and stronger enemies will show up before you can replace the ones you lost, which will lead to more losses, more heat, etc., until you lose.
Keeping the heat low lets you deal with only a few low-quality agents, who you can send away without raising any suspicions. For this reason, the tutorial should always be on when you start a game. Use the setup to build and improve your lair as you complete the guided missions and goals.
Rush to reach the 300-minion limit as soon as possible. Workers don’t have many needs and don’t need pay, and once you build the Cloning Machine, the 100 Vitality they get from it lets them overwhelm enemy Super Agents with sheer numbers.
Explore the whole map when it comes to the Global Operation, but never upgrade your Criminal Networks unless you have to. Maximum heat will be capped at a lower level, which means that enemy agents will be weaker, and you can use your worker minions to lower heat.
In the early game, you should focus on traps that won’t kill you: Freezing Ray and Bubble Cannon are great for lowering the enemy agent’s resolve to zero, which lets you send them home when the heat level goes up.
Slowly build up your vault until you have a huge reserve of money early in the game. This will help you deal with unexpected costs (like research costs, building costs, and the cost of quickly replacing minion costs) when you have more important things to do.
Before moving forward in the main story, do as much research as you can. Once you have the biologists, clear out the entire research menu. Once you have the Quantum Chemists, you should look into everything else.
You don’t need to worry about Loot items at all. The time, resources, and heat pressure it takes to get them aren’t worth the trouble. The Super Agents and Crime Lords side quests are things you can’t skip.
If you want to survive the final attack in the endgame, you need to plan ahead: kill all Super Agents by completing the four side quests for each one. Build up your team of 5 Henchmen to its fullest, but also finish all the side stories for any possible Crime Lord. Without special characters, the final fights with dozens of Goons, Soldiers, and Agents will be easier to handle.
If you don’t rush, keep the heat down, and slowly kill your enemies one at a time, you should have no trouble getting the four hard difficulty achievements.
2.0 – MINIONS
Standard worker minions in yellow jumpsuit automatically respawn in your lair every time the number goes below the maximum allowed. To raise the numbers to the maximum (300) you need to build additional Lockers in your lair.

There are 12 minion types in total (in the base game at least, DLCs and expansion pack minions don’t count). You will eventually unlock each of them during the story mode with any genius you choose.

3.0 – EVIL GENIUSES
There are 5 evil geniuses in total (4 in the base game + 1 from the expansion pack). With the exclusion of Polar, each of them have several achievements specific to them. For tips and suggestions for the hard difficulty achievement see above at the beginning of the guide.
3.1 – Maximilian
A Sparkling Tableau
As Max, create 20 Golden Statue, and add them to the Inner Sanctum
Golden Statues are a byproduct of your Doomsday Device firing. Once they appear order your minions to move them in your Inner Santcum to achieve this.
As Max, have 200 Specialist minion in the Lair at once
Be sure you have a large income to pay for all of them because they will not come cheap. Since building Lockers and expanding your lair to accommodate your workforce is part of the main story you will probably achieve this in the mid-to late game. If you want to know how many specialists you have it is always possible to check the Stats/Minions window in your System menu.
As Max, complete the Henchmen Upgrade Research
This is a tier 5 research, which requires Quantum Chemists and Super Computers. Complete the Henchmen Improvement Program: Stage 4 in the Minions section of your research menu to get this.
The Man With the M.I.D.A.S Touch
Fire the M.I.D.A.S Device for the first time
Story mode related. Cannot be missed.
Complete the Game as Max on any Difficulty
The Gold Standard
Complete the Game as Max on Hard Difficulty.
Max is undoubtedly the easier among the Geniuses: large number of minions and speed up training to refill your lair ranks during or after any emergency. On top of that his Doomsday Device provides schemes worth a large sum of money for each firing and golden statues that can be sold for additional funds. See the details in the difficult section above for more information.
3.2 – Red Ivan
As Ivan, kill 50 Agents using an old school weapon
The old school weapon in question is Ivan 4 barrels rocket launcher from his special ability. It deals reasonable damage, so you won’t have any problem to achieve this, especially with cheap quality agents at low heat level in the early game. Engage the enemy far away from your items as the rockets will set on fire anything near the target.
Get The Gang Back Together
As Ivan, recruit some old friends
You need to recruit both Jubei and Eli Barracuda Jr. while playing as Ivan to achieve this. Choose one of them at beginning of the game (I usually pick Jubei, if anything because Eli side story is far easier) and then complete the side quest to recruit the other one during the game. Be sure to pick the correct final side story to recruit the henchmen and not to kill him. Note: you need to have both henchmen at your service at the same time for this; don’t kill one of them before recruit the other one!
As Ivan, engage Atomic Olga in hand-to-hand combat
Raise heat level in H.A.M.M.E.R. regions to make Atomic Olga appears, then start one of her story mission or simply lure her into your lair. On high difficulty she is a tough challenge, be sure to eliminate her soldiers escort and soften her up, before engaging her with Ivan at close range.

The People’s Revolution
Complete the Game as Ivan on any Difficulty
Complete the Game as Ivan on Hard Difficulty
On the good side you can tolerate higher heat level and stronger enemy agents thanks to Ivan strength and the buff he provides to your Muscle Minions. On the bad side H.A.V.O.C. will set on fire the entire base with each shot. Put fire extinguishers and hire technicians for rapid repairs and it won’t be a problem, if you follow the same strategy described above in the difficulty section.
3.3 – Emma
I Was Always Better
As Emma, complete all the Genius Upgrade Research
This requires access to tier 5 research, which means Quantum Chemists and Super Computers. Once you can, complete the Genius Improvement Program: Stage 4 in the Minions section of your research menu to get this.
As Emma, capture and mock a pale imitation during “The Melting Point Of Steel”
The Melting Point Of Steel is the last mission for the Steele Programme Super Agent quest. Once you fire your Doomsday Device you will be attacked first by one Steele agent, and then by 6 of them. All you need to do is to capture the first one (the easiest one because it will come alone, the others are always in couple) and jail him. Select Emma and click on the cell the agent is in to mock him and get the achievement.
Can’t Be Fooled
As Emma, remove 50 Agent Disguises
Put Emma next the main gate between your lair and the casino and she will spot any disguised agent who is trying to enter. It is also a very useful thing to put same guard posts nearby to escort the discovered agents immediately toward the exit and avoid raising suspicion (especially in the early game and on high difficulty).

Complete the Game as Emma on any Difficulty
Complete the Game as Emma on Hard Difficulty
Emma can help in the early game thanks to her ability to unmask enemy investigators and reduce heat as described in the Can’t Be Fooled achievement above. Her Doomsday Devise will kill random minions in your lair with each shot but with less destruction than Ivan, making easier to recover. See the Difficulty section above for the general tips for this achievement.
3.4 – Zalika
Science Above All
As Zalika, Research everything
With Zalika bonus this won’t be a problem, you should have already research everything in the late game anyway.
As Zalika, convert 50 Agents to your cause
Pretty mundane. Build a prison with cells and at least a Brainwasher2000 (requires tier 2 research) and you won’t have any problem to achieve this in a single playthrough. Remember the you need to capture the agent and hold them into cells before the brainwashing.
As Zalika, steal an extinct creature, one that is yet to hatch, and a treasure from another world
This achievement requires 3 Loot items: the Dodo Educator, the Giant Egg and the Ray Gun Dispenser. See the achievement Your Very Own Museum below for the details for each of them.
Fire V.O.I.D. for the first time
Story mode related. Cannot be missed.
Complete the Game as Zalika on any Difficulty

Zalika can speed up the research and repairs to cut down time where you are exposed to enemy agents. She has a powerful range attack and her Doomsday Device collateral effects work more or less similar to Emma V.E.N.O.M. See the difficult section above for a full breakdown.
4.0 – HENCHMEN
There are 11 (+3 with all the DLCs) potential Henchmen in the game for you to recruit. For each of them there is a chain of side quests to complete before the henchmen can join you. Each side quest has specific requirements to appear, check the Recruit Them All achievement described below for the details.
Note: the achievements listed below were all acquired before it was possible of recruit defeated Super Agents. I cannot confirm if they count towards all achievements in this section.
Execute a loyal Henchman
Select you Genius and click on one of your Henchman to kill him. You will get this if you are after the Recruit Them All achievement described below.
Just The Two Of Us
Recruit a Henchman
Unmissable. To progress the story you will asked to select one side story to recruit one Henchman (Jubei, Eli, Iris or Janet). Finish the dedicated scheme to acquire the Henchmen and the achievement.
The inner Circle
Recruit three Henchmen in a single game

A Deadly Team

Recruit Them All
Recruit all available Henchmen in a single playthrough. Some betrayal required
The Henchmen version of the Loot items achievement. Originally it was bugged and impossible to get but now it is in your grasp. As explained above at the beginning of this section I cannot confirm if the Super Agents count for this. The DLCs Henchmen (Espectro, Doomhilda and Deep Six) are NOT required for this.
It is important to remember as general rules:
Always leave a slot free in your Henchmen roaster or you will miss some side quests.
Related to above, always execute the henchmen with little value (like Janet or Carl) and keep the powerful one to help you progress.
Start the side story as soon as they appear, better not miss them if you proceed too much in main story. For the same reason save often, and never on the same file. This is especially true for Clara and Sir Daniel, because you need to capture them when they can be killed/kill you instead.
And finally some specific cases:
Full Metal Jackie will appear very late in the game and only if you have a slot free. Again, never keep your henchmen squad fully stacked.
Carl and Clara are mutually exclusive, but you only need one of them for the achievement. If you choose Clara her side quest will require to kill Carl making impossible to recruit him. Carl on the other hand, will be available only if you have built in your lair the Declaration of Independence Loot Item, and Clara cannot join you if you choose him.
Sir Daniel requires all Super Agents to be alive for his recruitment. You also need to be quick during the last confrontation with him because he canl be killed instead of be captured as required. Pause the game, find him and order his capture before your minions kill him.
5.0 – LOOT ITEMS
Loot are specific items that can be acquired only through dedicated side missions on the world map. Each quest is unique for each item and often needs a specific requirement to appear. On top of that Loot missions are “timed”, in a sense that you can miss them if you proceed to much in the story, so if you are after the Loots start the side missions immediately after they pop up. The achievements below are all related to a specific number of Loot items acquired through a single game: see the last of them for the complete guide for each of them. NOTE: the Loot items from the DLCs and the preorder bonus DO NOT count for this.

The big one. Loots missions will be available as long you proceed with the main story and meet the specific requirements they need (if they have any). Always start the side quests as soon as they appear to avoid miss any of them.
In order of appearance:
1 Flying Pig – No requirements
2 Maple Syrup Dispenser – Have Criminal Network in Northern P.A.T.R.I.O.T. territory
3 Declaration of Independence – Agent X must appear on the map (rise heat)
4 Meteor – Have more than 15 Scientists in your lair
5 Sword in the Stone – Atomic Olga must appear on the map. Always available if you are Emma
6 Statue of Liberty’s Torch – Eli Barracuda Jr. must be one of your Henchmen
7 Sand of Time – No requirements
8 Meditation Stone – Jubei must be one of your Henchmen or have more then 15 Martial Artists in your lair
9 Cupid’s Arrow – One of your minion must desert. Make sure to block any morale increase in you lair for this eventually to happens.
10 Flame of Prometheus – Put something/someone on fire in your lair. NOTE: it seems this one is bugged. DO NOT proceed with the quest until you complete the Hubbard Slice mission first
11 Doors of Fort Knox – Complete 50 reduction heat schemes. It seems bugged, I got it with 103 schemes completed.
12 Bush Tuck BBQ – Unlock the Spin Doctor minion
13 Magic Carpet – Have an A.N.V.I.L. Criminal Network
14 Hubbard Slice – Unlock Biologist minion
15 Dodo Educator – Unlock Biologist minion
16 The Sarcophagus – Unlock Biologist minion

31 Terracotta Army – Clara must be one of your Henchmen. NOTE: if you recruit Carl first you cannot have Clara and the Loot item side quest will not appear.
32 Broken Time Machine – Have more than 10 Quantum Chemists in your lair. NOTE: you need Atomic Olga alive for this. If you complete her side story before the Loot side quest the time machine will not appear.
6.0 – SUPER AGENTS
Super Agents have a series of side story quests to be completed in order to permanently eliminate them. Super Agents will automatically appears on the Global Operation map after you raise enough heat. It is advisable to deal with them one by one rather than fight them all together in the endgame.
The Stoppable Force
Defeat H.A.M.M.E.R.’s Super Agent once for all
She can be very dangerous on Hard difficulty, so prepare yourself for a brutal battle. Large numbers and high quality muscle minions are the key to defeat her. NOTE: Atomic Olga is needed for 2 Loot items, you better check the Your Very Own Museum achievement above for details before eliminate her.
She Went Out Like A Wrecking Ball
Defeat S.A.B.R.E.’s Super Agent once for all
Not a particular hard one, make sure to neutralize her camouflage with your Genius/Henchmen the moment she tries to enter in your lair to prevent her to demolish your buildings. Her rouges/saboteurs squads aren’t exceptional either.
Defeat P.A.T.R.I.OT.’s Super Agent once for all
The only issue with Agent X is the fact that he will appear randomly inside your lair with his Hard-boiled investigators squad. Once spotted, concentrate your minions/Henchmen to eliminate them quickly.
To Take A Life
Defeat A.N.V.I.L.’s Super Agent once for all
Symmetry is extremely annoying because she will appear in your Vault every time she tries to raid your lair. Apart from that, she and her heist squad are not particular difficult to be dealt with.
Defeat S.M.A.S.H.’s Super Agent once for all
Blue Saint must be stopped the moment he appears, otherwise he will set your entire lair on fire. Neutralize his camouflage and bring him and his saboteurs down quickly.
Bring an end to a considerable thread
J. Steele agents are a real treat, especially on hard difficulty. Overwhelm them with sheer numbers of melee and ranged minions is the best solution. Beware of the mission The melting point of Steel because you will be dealing with an army of them.
Fulfilling Your Expectations
Defeat every Super Agents once and for all
Complete all the achievements above and you will get this.
Defeat the finest Saboteur in the world with Jubei
Lure Blue Saint from the Global Operation and have him fight directly with Jubei. Jubei will not have a problem to defeat Blue Saint if you have maxed up your Henchmen stats. Activate the Jubei Flow special ability the end the fight quickly.
Fighting With Fire
Set H.A.M.ME.R.’s Super Agent aflame
You need Atomic Olga for this. Raise heat level on the world map in H.A.M.M.E.R. regions until she appear, then lure her in your lair or complete one of her side quest (she always attacks your base in the end). You can build several flamethrowers at your lair entrance or try your luck with Jubei (his special ability can set on fire an enemy occasionally)
Perfectly Balanced, As All Things Should Be
Allow the finest Rogue in the world to succeed
A frustrating one. You need to lure Symmetry from the World map and basically let her rob you. It will take a while, but disable every traps and camera in your lair to facilitate her escape. Make sure your Henchmen are out of the way too. Please note that any Loot item she steals will be gone forever if you don’t stop her.
7.0 – TRAPS
Traps can be built in corridors after the appropriate research is completed. There are not specific ways to complete the achievements listed below, you will figured out naturally during the game. Generally speaking higher level of agents can disable traps easily: manage the heat reduction on Global Operation to deal only with low ranking investigators and make easier to achieve these ones.

Drop a certain agent into a specific trap
The certain agent is a J. Steele operative from the Steele Programme and the specific trap is of course the Shark Tank. You can lure the agents from the Global Operations or achieve this during one of the Steele Programme side quests. NOTE: the agent must be killed by the trap to achieve this. Build a multitude of traps and make sure he falls in the tank with 50 Vitality or less to get this.
8.0 – MISC ACHIEVEMENTS
The following achievements can be done with any Genius with few exceptions.
Start a new game
Easiest achievement ever.
Complete the Tutorial
Not much to said about this. Build the Inner Sanctum as your final request to complete the tutorial and earn this.
Assuming Indirect Control
Build a Control Room
Very easy. You will get this during the tutorial.
Up In Flames
Take care of an intruder, and then destroy the evidence
Build an Incinerator in your power Station and kill the first enemy agent that shows up in your lair, the rest will come automatically. It is unmissable during the tutorial.
A Place To Call Your Own
Build an Inner Sanctum
Easy. You will get it at the end of the tutorial or as you first mission in the story if you skip it.
They’re Onto You
Have one Region enter Lockdown
Almost unmissable during the game even if you technically can avoid it. Raise heat in one region on the Global Operation until you get it.
You Only Live One
Die for the first time
Surprising (or not?) easier than I though. Raise heat until some serious FOJ agent or super agent appears than Leeroy Jenkins the enemy alone for the desired result. I suggest to save and then reload so you don’t have to waste a game on this.
One Billion Dollars?
Have one million Gold in the Vault
Not a problem if you have a steady cash flow, you can reach it in the mid-game easily. Your only concern is to enlarge your vault enough to hold the required amount. If you are out of space research and build the Megasafe (can hold 10000 gold each) or acquire the Loot items Arabian Jars (+20000 gold) and the Piggy Bank (+30000 gold).
I’ll Take Care of This Myself
Defeat a Super Agent with your Genius
This one can be a little tricky because you need to engage the super Agent without interference from your Henchmen or minions. I think the best approach is to intercept the targets when they are still in the Casino or even outside of it. Beware that all Agents (except J. Steele) have escort of regular FOJ troops, so plan accordingly. I achieved this with Ivan, being him the toughest of all the geniuses and with a powerful ranged attack.
The First Resort
Use your Casino to completely drain the Resolve of 200 Agents
If you are keeping the heat on Global Operation low you will not any problem with this. Arrange the casino spaces as a single long corridor maze where the agents are forced to go multiple distractions and deception minions. The low tier investigators wont stand a chance to even reach your lair entrance.
Upgrade 23 Criminal Networks to Level 4
The level 4 Criminal Networks upgrade (from Global Operation of your research menu) will be available once you unlock the Quantum Chemist minion. Additional level 4 minions such as Martial Artists and Counter agents will be also required. To upgrade to 4 level all the 23 regions you need a grand total 138 Broadcast Strength (1 BS to explore the region + 1 for level 2 upgrade + 2 for level 3 upgrade + 2 for level 4. Please note that the J.A.W.S. ocean regions do not count for this.
Survival Of The Fittest
Clone a minion with the Cloning Machine and…deal…with the inferior copy
This one is rather puzzling. The Cloning Machine increase the Vitality of your workers but there is no clue if a minion is a copy or not. I accidentally get it when I killed a minion after I built the Cloning Machine. Build the Machine, send on schemes/kill many minions to fill your lair with copies and then execute some of them until you get this.
Generate 50,000 gold in your Casino
Once all the casino items are available (after you unlock all your deception minions) this will not be a problem. Remember to switch your casino tables (baccarat, roulette and bars) from “distract enemy agents” to “make money from the guests” to facilitate this.
Fire a Doomsday Device at Strength 2
This cannot be missed in the story mode.
Fire a Doomsday Device at Strength 3
Same as above.
Destroy every Region. Permanently.
This one requires a little planning and patience. You can achieve it with any genius you like (except Polar). Once you reach the final mission of the game, you need to permanently destroy the 5 regions where the FOJ headquarters are to win. Instead of doing that . The little planning required consists in leaving . It is better to leave the last 4-5 regions intact: in this way you can harvest the fuel for the doomsday device faster, thanks to multiple schemes available. Once you have 40-48 fuel destroy the last regions, leaving the last headquarter for last. You will win the game and get this.
