Neither bots nor other players, want to destroy their tiny armies against your defensive 100 stacks. Are you frustrated that these achievements are impossible to achieve without the help and support of others? You don't have to worry. With the correct settings (and a minor bot handling), anyone can achieve these achievements by themselves, using their own skill in Single Player.
This guide will tell you everything
1. Create a Capital Conquest single-player game or World Domination with AI and true random dice
2. Dominate bots. Place them into one territory corner (, or corners with just one of the territories bordering you and other players). Then reduce their remaining troop to 1 by rolling single dice.
3. Offer them the following possibilities to attack (in a Not-A-Capital-territory):
If they get 3 reinforcements, they will receive a 6 stack. (3-vs-6 13% Blitz Win Chance)
If they get 5 reinforcements in (, they will have a capital of): 10 stacks. (5-vs-10 12% Blitz Win Chance)
4. If a bot makes any of these attacks, (can eliminate all other bots.) replenish your stack to 6-10 respectively and let them continue the attack next turn. Rinse, repeat. If they make a successful attack, or use cards, then you can rinse and repeat. Repair the damage and then try again.
5. Bad luck is if there are no bots in the game that perform these attacks.
Good luck! Godspeed!
Settings in detail
Map: It doesn’t really matter. It works everywhere.
Game Mode: Capital Conquest The (makes life a little easier or World Domination
Manual Placement is possible.
Card Bonus: With the "Fixed", you can do less.
AI Difficulty: Expert
(I haven’t yet tried another setting, but I a*sume that the easier bots behave differently and are not as aggressive as we need to use desperate attacks.)
Fog of War, doesn't really matter but it's simpler with "Off".
Blizzards, It doesn’t matter. "On” may make it a little simpler since there are more dead ends and choke points to corner the bots. This allows you to guard them easily with fewer troops.
Dice Rolls – True Random
Number of Bots/Enemies: The more the better! (as long that you can manage them and are able)
How it works
Many bots act and play in a similar way, but not all bots.
Risk: Global Domination Wiki [fandom.com]
There are many bot "personas".
As far as my knowledge, bots attack using Blitz Dice. Most bots attack when the Blitz Chance exceeds a certain threshold. Depending on the bot personality and the game situation, this could be >75% to >50% or >25%. This is not good if we need to defend 15 attacks in succession. Our chances for success would be negligible*, and we would require dozens, if not hundreds, of tries.
* Best case scenario: (15 = 100%-25%)15= 0,7515 = 1,33% probability of Impenetrable.
If given the choice, some bots may also launch attacks with a Blitz win chance as low at 10%. We can work with.
(10%-10%)15= 0,915= 20,6%. This means we will need only a few attempts until this defensive streak holds for fifteen attacks of this nature.
I have never seen any bot attack with a Blitz Win chance below 10%.
The method involves finding a suitable bot, and then making him do one of these long-shot efforts per turn. To be exact, each turn we make the same attempt. This way we don't need to think about how much troops we have. We always replenish to the exact amount. The bot's reinforcements are eliminated and it is back at 1. It will then repeat the next turn. If 5/10/15 failed attempts are made, we will receive (for our achievements as long as there is no other bot that conquers you.
We just need to replenish or add our reinforcements elsewhere, and we can fast-forward bots' turns' so we can do it quite quickly.
Screenshots and examples
Step 1 – Dominate all bots and place each one in a corner.
Step 2: Reduce them into one territory and use slow rolls/single-dice rolls to reduce them.
Step 3 – If they get 3 reinforcements offer them a 6-pack to attack as your weakest points (not in the Capital territory. They change probabilities). If they get five reinforcements, offer them 10 stacks.
We can see the results in this screenshot:
Situation after setting-up steps 2 and 3 for purple and yellow. I know that teal doesn’t work starting from the last round.
The yellow stack isn't being attacked by Yellow. Purple's turn.
Purple attacked the six stack using its three troops! We have a bot to use! \o/
Purple did attack the 6th stack and lost all 3 of his troops. Purple is our man.
Teal did not use its 3 troops to take out our 6 stacks last round. This is because it lacks the aggressiveness that we need. We can just eliminate them. Yellow didn’t use 5 of its troops to attack 10 stacks. We keep yellow with its capital because it isn't yet winning.
Now we just need to replenish 5-6 troops, place yellow in a box together with our other troops, farm purple's strikes.
Notice: It is unlikely that even the most aggressive bots will use 3 troops against a 7-stack (). This is because there's a lower than 10% Blitz Win Chance. Here even purple did not attack.
If the bot receives reinforcements beyond 3, and has a bonus, it should also work. Here are the ideal stack sizes for (.
4 reinforcements: 8 stack (12% Bitz Win Chance)
5 reinforcements: 10 stack (12% Blitz Win Chance)
6 reinforcements 12 stack (11% WC)(this was actually the case in my game where I got all my achievements, see below)
7 reinforcements: 13 stacks (13%BWC) or 14 stacks (10 BWC, could be too low/not working, tell me)
8 reinforcements: 15 stack (12% BWC)
9 reinforcements: 17 stack (11% BWC)
Example: Blue holds Crete. It gets 6 reinforcements (3, minimum for territories, plus 3 for Crete. Each turn, it gets)). Blue ensures that all its troops are in the territory that borders an enemy (ME) each turn. It is also aggressive enough to attack 12 troops, despite only a 11% chance for success.
Important notice: Sometimes bots will succeed in their attack! The next step is to conquer your 6 stack territory and take out any remaining bot troops. The bot may then be able use cards next round, but there is nothing you can do. The method works on probabilities and you may not be able defend 15 attacks in a row the first time. It is possible for the bot to break your defensive streak 6-8 more times before you reach a successful 15 streak. The method works in a way that you can easily achieve the achievements within a reasonable time.
