Preparations

Weapons
 
We'll use ranged loadout since it's more suitable for this boss than melee. Craft a Starcannon and collect as many fallen star as you can (. 150 might suffice). Make about 100 Beenades.
 
 
Potions
 
 

• Swiftness Potione (Highly underrated)
• Inferno Potion
• Ironskin Potion
• Heartreach Potion

 
You can also save ammo by using the Ammo Box Buffer.
 
 
Accessories
 
 

• Brain of Confusion/ Worm Scarf
• Obsidian Shield
• Lightning boots and better
• Any double jump or Bundle of Balloons
• Shield of Cthulhu

 
If possible, reorganize everything to Warding(+4 defense)
 
 
Armor
 
The safest choice for armor would be Molten armour due to its 25 total defence points. However, if your priority was higher damage output then Necro armor would be a good choice. It only has 19 defense point but has a 10% increased ranged chance. This guide will help you out later.
 

 
 
 

Arena

Build a long (with at least 930 blocks) platform using cheap materials like dirt or mud.
 
 

 
 
 

The Fight

Once you have summoned the WoF throw beades at hungry until the boss is down to half its HP. After that, switch to Star Cannon. The rest should be easy.
 
 
SEEK ONLY AT THE EYES – THEY HAVE LESS DEFENSE THAT THE MOUTH! !
 
 
Tips
 
 

• Lasers can be avoided by moving up or down constantly
• Plant sunflowers and set firepits occasionally to improve your HP recovery
