Connection Issue

If you are experiencing connection issues please check the following things to see if they could be causing the disconnect on your end:
 
 
The network strength of your internet connection
 
If you have a firewall or DNS blocker
 
If your platform’s clock is out of sync
 
Your NAT Type should be set to Type 1 (Open)
 
If you are on Windows, you can re-sync your block by following these steps:
 
Press Windows + R to open the Run window.
 
Copy and paste ms-settings:dateandtime into the window.
 
Hit Enter.
 
Click on Sync Now
 
If the issue persists, file a ticket with our support team for troubleshootin
 
 
Last one (work for me)
 
Try running InsurgencyEAC.exe in SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\sandstorm, that worked for me. Before I had removed all Insurgency Sandstorm posts from the firewall settings in Windows and then accepted them again after starting through InsurgencyEAC.exe. I do not know if that was needed, but that was my steps taken. Good luck Sarge
 
 
 

Error message “Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed”

Install, Uninstall, Or Repair Easy Anti-Cheat

 
The Easy Anti-Cheat service is typically installed automatically with each game and uninstalled automatically when the last game using Easy Anti-Cheat is removed from your system.
 
 
You can also install the service manually. To do so navigate to the “EasyAntiCheat” folder inside of the game’s installation folder and locate “EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe”. Launch it as administrator and choose ‘Install’.
 
 
If your Easy Anti-Cheat installation becomes corrupted somehow, you can repair it by following the same steps and choosing ‘Repair’ at the end.
 
 
Easy Anti-Cheat service is uninstalled together with the game. You can also manually remove the service from the system by following the above steps and choosing ‘Uninstall’ at the end.
 
 

Verify The Easy Anti-Cheat Installation

 
It may be so that an external third-party software has modified the Easy Anti-Cheat service installation, preventing it from functioning properly on. Verify that the Easy Anti-Cheat service on your computer is enabled as follows.
 
 

• Open the command-line. You may need administrator rights. Follow this guide for instructions on running a command with administrative rights.
• Type in the following command and press Enter. services.msc
• Among the listed services find Easy Anti-Cheat and double-click it.

If the Startup type for the service is ‘Disabled’ – change it to ‘Manual’ and Apply the settings.
 
 

 
The menu can now be closed.
 
 

Service Update

 
An obsolete version of Easy Anti-Cheat service executable has been detected and an update is needed. Administrative privilege is required to update the Easy Anti-Cheat service.
 
 
Service updates should happen automatically but might fail in some cases. Please follow the instructions below to manually update the service. You only need to do this once for all games.
 
 
Installation instructions
 
Download the updated service from the following link: EasyAntiCheat.exe. – [eac-cdn.com] 
 
 
Copy the downloaded EasyAntiCheat.exe to: “C:\Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat\” (or “C:\Program Files\EasyAntiCheat\”) replacing the existing executable.
 
 
Launch the game normaly.
