This guide will show you how to join servers that uses mods, as generally, servers won’t use the exact same mods.
 
 

How to join

First of all, they way to join a server which mods doesn’t match your own, you have to join through the launcher.
 
 

 
 
So obviously, the way to join a server through the launcher is by going to the server section.
 
 

 
Once in this section you have to find the server you want to join. When you’ve found the server you have to press the arrow on the right side of the server tab:
 
 

 
 
In the extended tab that opens you have to navigate to mods, and press the “More details…”-button:
 
 

 
 
Now it will show you a list of all the mods. You can either go to the steam workshop and look up every single mod, but I recommend you press “SETUP DLCS AND MODS AND JOIN”:
 
 

 
 
That should permit you to join the server even if there are some mods you haven’t yet subsribed to. In case it’s no obvious, all mods that you haven’t subscribed yet, will be automatically subscribed to, and you will download them. In case you’re not aware, subscribe to mod only means download the mod.
 
 
The server used in this example is my own and you are welcome to join if you’d like, but as per now the server isn’t all that active. You can expect some people to be on the server a few days per week. Some operations are announced, but due to the server’s low player base, operations are quite rare.
