In this guide, i will teach you how to run pubg on a low end laptop or a pc
 
i have tested these settings on a i5 5th gen, intel uhd 630, 8gb ram laptop

Context / Disclaimers

before you follow any guides on the internet, be sure to backup all the files the guide requires you to edit, because if the edit breaks the game u can go back to the original without any issue if you have the backup..
 
 
Pubg is a hard game to fix so for more context on how my performance was, i got 30fps – 50fps (squads / solo)
 
 
 

Step 1

Run the game and set everything to the lowest and screen resolution scaler to 70%
 
and make sure the game resolution is on1280 X 720
 
 
after all thats done, Save and Quit the game
 
 
 

Step 2

now that i a*sume you have done what i have written above in step 1
 
 
Goto this location is your pc
 
C:\Users\Dell\AppData\Local\TslGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
 
 
if you cant find Appdata in the folder simply search %appdata% in Run Box (WinKey + R)
 
and you can goto the location above…
 
 
with that out of the way;
 
we are going to edit a file called GameUserSettings
 
 

 
OPEN THE FILE ON A NOTEPAD
 
 
and were gonna change the line from 70 to 50 from ScalabilityGroups
 
 

[ScalabilityGroups]
sg.ResolutionQuality=50.000000

 
 
the next line were gonna change is from [/script/tslgame.tslgameusersettings]
 
 

[/script/tslgame.tslgameusersettings]
ScreenScale=50.000000

Step 3 (Change the file as Read Only)

to change the GameUserSettings file to Read Only
 
 
Right Click the file and Click on properties
 
after that you will see read only on bottom of the box, Check itand click onApply
 
and click Okay
 

 
 
 

Step 4

Right Click on Desktop and Open Display Settings
 
and make sure to set the Screen Resolution to 720p on windows
 
 
afterwards open graphics settings and Add Pubg to it and click on performance mode
 
 
once thats all done
