Want to try out aspects of the game that don’t require hours of toiling the soil and instead give you an instant and possible end to any cash-flow problem for your FS22 game?

Then look no further, this guide is for you.

Introduction

Hello, and welcome to my guide on how to set yourself up with an almost bottomless wallet for your FS22 Game.

Why have I written this guide?

Because if you are like me, then you may not have hours available to spend on games and may wish to have the availability to purchase whatever you want in-game without the need of knowing if you can afford it.

What does it entail?

Quite straight forward really. It involves making a small edit to a couple of your game save files. You won’t require any specialist software to do this edit to the .xml files – just your bog standard Notepad app will do just fine.

NOTE:

I have only tested this on single-player save game files.

Show Me the Money!

OK, so if you’re reading this, you’re wanting to go ahead with this little guide – nice one. I’ll make it as straight forward as possible. If you have any comments or suggestions on how to make the guide better, please feel free to leave a comment.

To prepare things, make sure you launch your game and create a new save game to which you wish to make the edit to – this will create the files you need to edit.

Where are the .XML Files?

By default, the .xml files will be stored at the following location on your computer:

C:\Users\<USERNAME>\Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2022\savegame1

NOTE: The above location is a*suming you are wanting to edit the .xml files in the first save slot, if they aren’t, ensure you choose the correct savegame folder.

Which Files Should I Edit?

Within the SaveGame folder, the two files you are looking for are named:

– careerSavegame.xml

– farms.xml

Editing careerSavegame.xml

Open the file in Notepad and scroll down to the bottom of the files contents. You’ll see a <statistics> section, of which is contained a <money></money> setting with a number between it. This number is the amount of money you have in that save game. Change this to whatever value you desire.

Save and close.

Editing farms.xml

Open the file in Notepad and at the top, there’ll be a <farms> section and contained within this section is the second money setting which you’ll need to change. This value will need to match the value you put in the first .xml file and will need to be input between the ” marks. See below:

<farm farmId=”1″ name=”My farm” color=”1″ loan=”0.000000″ money=”987230080″loanAnnualInterestRate=”100.000000″>

Save and close the .xml file.

Go Forth and Roll in it!

With these two files edited, saved and closed; you should now be able to launch the game, go to Career mode and load the save game – seeing that the value of the money in-game is now that which you set in the .xml files.

Thanks for reading, have fun with FS22 and please rate this guide if you found it helpful.
