Obtain the Cannon

The cannon is for sale from the pirate NPC who is available after defeated the pirate invasion anytime in hardmode. It costs 25 gold coins and is a decent though unused crowd control weapon, but what if I told you it could be duplicated?
 
 

 
 
 

Duplicate the cannon

The steps necessary to duplicate the cannon are as follows:
 

1. Get a friend to help you (harder than it sounds) I unfortunately Don’t have one on hand with me at the moment so I can’t demonstrate, You’ll have to take my word for it.
2. Place down the cannon
    
    
    
    
    
   
3. Have your friend violently right click on the cannon in order to change it’s rotation
4. While it is rotating, break the cannon, it would help if you used a faster pickaxe in order to break the cannon, so it is easier to get the timings correct. If this is successful, you should get two cannons, It may however try some fiddling around to do it right.

 
This is useful for getting money fast, as each cannon sells for 5 gold coins. I’m not sure if this is possible in singleplayer, but every attempt I have made so far hasn’t worked
 
 
To my knowledge, this is also the first mention of a cannon duplication glitch being possible in terraria, if you find anyone else who knows this, let me know. Thanks for taking your time to read this!
