I grew to love Pokemon and have a lot of experience in competitive mode. I can offer some tips since both games are very similar (W.I.P
 

Traits

 
Coromons that have good traits such Lucky, Good Assist, Static Body, and Spiked Body are essential. These traits are a great advantage. Some are defensive and others are offensive. Do not go along with your favorite Coromon without first acquiring a good trait.

Movesets

 
Your moveset should look something like this:
 
– (, two) from the same type of Coromon (cause more damage)
 
– A status move (sleep, stun, + attack, + defense etc)
 
– A coverage motion (I will explain now)
 
 
A coverage move is one that is not related your Coromon () type and serves to counter the Coromons weak against. For example, Water type is weak to Fire type. The move Bite is a good cover move for a Fire Coromon. However, water Coromons are weak against Dark (. I call it Dark type. But the real name of this move is Foul). Change a Coromon to another one that is effective against the opponent will give you a free round. The coverage move allows you to inflict some injury instead of giving away a turn (. This is especially true if the Coromon have a high speed).
 
 
Skill Flash items are also available for coverage. Use them wisely

Stats / Potential Points

 
When leveling your Coromons up, make sure you increase your SPEED stat. It is crucial. But don't waste all the Potential points on speed. Unless the Coromon with Fast Strike) has an attack, having a fast Coromon means you'll attack first (. You should also spend your Potential Points on the skills your Coromon excels at. To find the base stats of a Coromon, go to Database. Spend the Points to improve or decrease the speed of a Coromon. Silquill, for example is very fast and has good attack, but lacks special defense and defense. Use one Point on DF or SD and the last one on Attack
