The first and only guide of Skinny. Just want to help those that struggled as I did at the start.
 
 

Controls:

The movement controls are the same as any other game:
 
W – Forward
 
S – Backward
 
A – Left
 
D – Right
 
Shift – Sprint
 
E – Pick up / Interact
 
 
BUT, there is a few more odd ones the game doesn’t inform you of:
 
 
Q – Drop object
 
(Very useful for positioning items to your advantage)
 
 
Z – Camera
 
(This is vital for a code you need)
 
 
 

Basics:

You want to rescue your daughter get gas for your car and escape Skinny! This guide will help you with all of the above
 
 
Important to note things:
 
 
*You can survive 4 Skinny attacks, the 5th will cause the end game cut-scene to play (Pro Tip: Press escape and click Restart to avoid this and having to load the game again and avoid having to watch the intro cut-scene again)
 
 
*One achievement is notoriously bugged, that being Open which should be triggered when you unlock the Voodoo Room
 
 

 
 
*The Camera will stick you in walk only mode which makes you very vulnerable to Skinny
 
 
*When hit by Skinny your items will drop where you got hit
 
 
*A sharp intake of breath is an indication that Skinny has seen you and will be approaching
 
 
*If you pick up an item while holding another one that item you previously held will fall at your feet, the only exceptions being:
 
– Shotgun Ammo which is loaded into your shotgun once empty and will not be lifted otherwise
 
– Batteries which charge your camera
 
– Gas which for some reason has it’s own spot

Evasion and Hiding

There are a few ways to evade or hide from Skinny thankfully to save your precious fragile life
 
 
There is the cla*sic strategy that many use in horror games use to great effect. RUN, if you run and evade Skinny for long enough he loses interest and goes off to prowl once again
 
 
The game also has a few hiding spots for you to cower in where Skinny will not be able to get you… even if he sees you get in it.
 
 
The first of two hiding spots is located inside the two story house, a wardrobe
 
 

 
 
The second of the hiding spots is located just outside the steps to the two story house, a plain old dumpster
 
 

 
 
The last of the hiding spots is actually right next to you when you spawn, the car you used to get here and need to use to escape
 
 

 
 
There is also intentional ways to evade skinny! These can help you escape a few spots that otherwise are sure to lead to death! (Not included is the Well Room but you can just trick him by making him walk around the well )
 
 
The first and less useful of the evades is inside the small house which includes the coffin Anna (your wife or daughter???) is in. You can jump through the window in both directions!
 
 
Be warned tho skinny will be on you within seconds if you don’t start running away again

The last form of evasion is located at the top stairs window in the two story house, it is a zipline which lands you down in front of your car. Vital to escaping Skinny if you end up being followed by him into the two story house
 
 
(If Skinny is there you will glitch and land on his head which means he can’t get you. You can escape this by walking on the car hood)
 
 

 
 
 

Shotgun

The shotgun is the most useful tool in the game to help you take down skinny (Also the only object that helps with that…)
 
 
The shotgun will take down Skinny for a total of 40 seconds! And is located very close to where you spawn! It only comes with one bullet but you can find more ammo, which will be shown down below along with the actual shotgun locations.

Coffin part 1 (Hammer)

The easiest and fastest part of the escape progress is the Hammer which is used to break the plank off the coffin (pictured below)
 
 

 
 
The locations (that I know of):
 
 
In the far back left corner of the Well room, beside the boxes
 
 

 
 
On the ground beside the chair in the Two story House
 
 

 
 
You just bring it out to the coffin and smash the plank holding Anna in, with this you are halfway done saving her!
 
 
 

Padlock Key Locations/Room (+ Screwdriver/Iron Key for Gas and Voodoo Room code)

This key is for the room in the upstairs section of the Two story House (pictured below)
 
 

 
 
The locations of the Padlock Key varies as show below:
 
 
It can appear in any of the drawers of the table in the Coffin Room (one example below)
 
 

 
 
It can also appear on any of the Coffin Room’s gla*s cupboard shelves (one example below)
 
 

 
 
This room holds two important items:
 
 
(ITEM 1) The screwdriver which is used on a metal box to obtain the Iron key
 
 

 
 

 
 

 
 
the Iron Key is used on the locked door inside of the Well room to obtain Gas
 
 

 
 

 
 
(ITEM 2) Voodoo Room code
 
 
Using the Camera (Z) you can see secret messages throughout the game but most importantly in this room there is a code needed to unlock the Voodoo Room (An example of a code below)
 
 

 

 
WARNING: this is one of many random codes and the codes can at times not appear or be very faint (Codes I have found have been 9666, 4996, 1743 and more)
 
 
 

Voodoo Doll

The Voodoo doll is thankfully very easy to find and has only two spawn locations:
 
 
The first is in the bucket resting on the well’s ledge in the Well room
 
 

 
 
The second is to the left as you enter the Two story House on the lowest bookshelf
 
 

 
 
 

Coffin part 2 (Rusty Key)

This is for the big old lock on the coffin holding Anna (pictured below)
 
 

 
 
This part is a bit longer and I have guides for the items needed in other sections (Voodoo Room Code and Voodoo Doll)
 
 
Once you have obtained the Voodoo Doll and the Code needed you go to they keypad (image below) to the left of the Voodoo Room door and enter the code.
 
 

 
 
This will unlock the door and lead you to a place for three Voodoo Doll’s with one missing (the one in your possession), place your Voodoo Doll in the vacant place and the table will open to reveal the Rusty Key which is then used to open the large lock on Anna’s coffin prison. Which once done (a*suming you did the Hammer step first) should release Anna who will then go to the car and wait
 
 

 
 

 
 
 

Getting out of there!

Once Anna is free and you have the Gas simply fill up your car by interacting with it then hopping into the driver’s seat (This can be glitchy so if you attempt to leave the car after entering it should work).
 
 
This will then play the ending cutscene! CONGRATULATIONS, YOU BEAT SKINNY!
