Here is an easy build for the Witch.
-  Cauldron
-  Magic Missile (can be found in Floor 1 chest, otherwise in Floor 2 shop)
-  Burning Light/Ice Shard/Electric Shock, in this order of priority (Level 2 reward)
-  Duplicate (Level 4 reward)
-  Blizzard, Inferno, Shockwave, Lightning Bolt; in this order of priority (Floor 4 shop)
-  Some other spell of your choosing
Tip: avoid replacing Cauldron, except for Blood Cauldron.
- Lvl 3 – Upgraded Slot
- Lvl 5 – Extra Dice
- Lvl 6 – Prepared Slot
If you feel unlucky in a fight, press “Esc” then “Return to Title“. You will be able to resume your game before the start of the fight, and have another go at it. Only the dice of the first turn will be the same, the rest of the fight will be different.
Moreover, with other characters, you can change the seed of the random number generator by moving items in your inventory. With the witch, spells are immovable in your spellbook, contrary to items in an inventory. However, you can change the seed by switching spells in prepared slots.
You can play this build for quests n°1, 2, 3 (nearly) and 4. For quest n°3, the “Bumpblade” is  from the start, and acts as your Cauldron.
For quests n°5 and 6, you will have to improvise a bit, but you should have had time to learn how to play by then, so that it should be doable to build long and powerful mana-based combos.
